about me

My name is Andrea Sacchi, a translator and subtitler with nearly three decades of experience helping international companies communicate clearly across markets and cultures.

I hold a Sworn Translator degree from the Universidad de Morón in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I am a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) and a Proz.com Certified Pro Translator. I am also a registered member of IAPTI (International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters).

I have been recognised as Translation Service of the Year 25/26 for the South of England by the Prestige Awards, and honoured with the SME Southern Enterprise Award 25/26 — accolades that reflect my commitment to excellence in every project I undertake.

Over the years, I have worked with banking and financial institutions, embassies, telecommunication companies, global management consulting firms, NGOs, and many other sectors. I specialise in the English↔Spanish language pair across a wide range of fields, with a particular focus on helping clients bridge cultural barriers and communicate with clarity, precision and impact.

Originally from Argentina, I have lived in the United Kingdom for over 22 years. This extended immersion in Anglophone culture — combined with native fluency in Latin American Spanish — means that my UK and US clients work with someone who genuinely understands both worlds from the inside.

Outside of work, I am a passionate open-water swimmer and a lifelong learner with an interest in language, technology and how brands tell their stories across cultures.

Most recently, I have partnered with Anahí Afríol, a Buenos Aires-based Senior Brand Strategist, to launch Pampa Vox — a bilingual branding and strategic localisation service that helps UK and US businesses build an authentic, culturally resonant presence in Latin American markets. You can learn more about Pampa Vox here.
